Minang Families and Country

Explore the profound connection of the Minang people to their boodja, or country, through our photo wall celebrating Minang families. This exhibit highlights the enduring bond between the Minang community and their ancestral lands.

Today, the Minang continue to engage in projects aimed at 'restoring connections' and 'caring for country.' These initiatives not only preserve the environment but also reinforce cultural identity and community well-being.

The collaboration between generations, with both children and adults working side by side, underscores the importance of unity and shared responsibility. It’s a testament to the Minang’s dedication to nurturing their heritage and landscape for future generations.
