Oranje Tractor Wines

Sustainable winemaking with a global touch

Nestled in Albany, Oranje Tractor Wines is a charming vineyard known for its environmentally friendly practices. Established by Murray Gomm and Pamela Lincoln, this vineyard is a testament to their passion for sustainable winemaking.

The vineyard's name is inspired by their vintage 1964 orange Fiat tractor, with the Dutch spelling reflecting the diverse international helpers they host. Through the Willing Workers on Organic Farms (WWOOF) scheme, visitors from around the globe join in the grape harvest using traditional methods.

Since 2002, Murray and Pamela have cultivated their vineyard organically, avoiding synthetic fertilisers and herbicides. Instead, they let nature lend a hand, with chickens and guinea fowl roaming freely to manage pests while enriching the soil.

Oranje Tractor Wines is more than just a place to enjoy a glass of wine; it's a journey into sustainable agriculture and global collaboration, offering a unique and enriching experience for all who visit.
