Possum Nest Box

Have you spotted our special possum nest box hidden among the tree branches? This wooden box is cleverly designed to provide a safe haven for small arboreal mammals, like possums. The entrance is just the right size, ensuring these native animals can easily nest and stay protected.

In the wild, many Australian species rely on natural tree hollows for nesting and breeding. However, with fewer old trees around, these nest boxes help bridge the gap, ensuring our wildlife has the shelter they need. Nest boxes like this one are vital, especially in urban areas where mature, hollow-bearing trees are hard to find.

By installing these boxes, we support local wildlife, helping them thrive in gardens and neighborhoods. It’s a simple yet effective way to make a big difference for our furry friends, keeping them safe from predators and giving them a cozy place to call home.
