Fire pit

So I think the fire pit is definitely one of the main elements in the outside area. When you think about, like, Aboriginal people, when we come together, usually it's around the fire, especially for dinner and, you know, when you get together with families. So having a really large fire pit that everyone can sit around was, like, really important to have here. We do a lot of our special yarning circles, food events that we do in the evenings as well. And we've done a few, like, community events around the fire pit. One of the best things is we have damper making. So usually it's Barry's mum, but someone from the community will come in and they'll teach the younger kids how to make the damper on the fire, like do it proper ways. So it's always really special to share that.
